As discussed on the CotR presents feed, this is my Bond of Friendship Mediocrestuff deck that I will be bringing to Con of the Rings 2022.

You can listen to Bardlee and myself discuss Con specific deckbuilding in the first episode of our Road To Rings limited series here: https://shows.acast.com/cotr-tardy-takes/episodes/road-to-rings-ep-1 and then check out the discussion of this deck, and the others that we will be bringing, in our second episode here: https://shows.acast.com/cotr-tardy-takes/episodes/road-to-rings-ep-2

This deck was basically created for the 2021 Con as a way that I could guarantee I had a deck without uniqueness conflicts that I could play. The big side board of heroes allows for me to swap some stuff around before the game to accommodate my fellow players if I’m one of the last to pick a deck and join.

Many of the heroes are on the higher end of power, and Bond of Friendship itself is broken in lower player counts and still quite great at 4p, so it holds its own fairly well regardless of the hero lineup. The rest of the deck is basically just decent, mostly non-unique, things that help the table get more cards, resources, threat reduction, etc. It’s a bit of a support deck for the most part, which is sometimes fun to play at 4p.

Not my favorite deck, or one that I’ll use a ton at the Con, but a nice addition to the bag for when I want a little less brain burn and to just go cruise control a bit.
