This quest gives you a chance to build a deck that boosts one of your stats to counter a mechanic within the quest. You need to do some deck-building to give yourself the best chance to win. Stage 3 punishes you for having characters with low .
My heroes have at least 2 each, I have included Miner of the Iron Hills to get rid of a nasty condition attachment.
Glóin will get a lot attachments on him, and he will help pay for them. Narvi's Belt lets him grab a A Burning Brand and hold onto it.
Mirkwood Runner is a great card for this quest, he can take out one of the more annoying enemies by himself.
Shadow of the Past is really good to help you find those victory point cards if they get discarded as a shadow effect.
