IMPORTANT: This is not a solo deck, but a deck designed to work in tandem with my other deck Support for Eriador. Both these decks try to follow an Elvish/Dunedain theme.
The main goal of this deck is attack and defense. I always mulligan for Steward of Gondor which makes the Gondorian Shield a great choice for Elrohir. Rivendell blade is a must for Elladan. If I know I am up against orcs I like to add Blade of Gondolin, otherwise I use Dagger of Westernese .
Go crazy with the Signal cards and boost where necessary. If I no longer need a damage or defense boost, I like to boost Glorfindel and Aragorn in the other deck.
You get a lot of utilities out of the allies. Search for Signals, cancel shadows, resource smoothing etc.
Ranger provisions are mainly there to help the other deck gain more resources, seeing as the other deck helps this one with card draw.
If you really need a questing boost, add the Sword that was Broken to play on the other decks' Aragorn.
I addes some fun strong allies jut because.
Enjoy!
Nice deck! Ranger of Cardolan could be a nice option in this deck. It gives you a cheap "help me!" ally in a pinch or a great balanced non-unique neutral ally to purchase if you have spare cash lying around.
