This is a theme deck based on the heroes of Gondor. It revolves on getting your three heroes well equipped to the point that they can take a beating and take down the strongest foes in Middle Earth.
Boromir ability also makes sure you have a strong Gondor army to back you up. Equipping him with Visionary Leadership empowers every Gondor character's willpower. Recruit Soldier of Gondor to bolster you ranks fast and Citadel Custodian once you get 4-5 allies in play.
Prince Imrahil's ability allows him to commit to quests and ready himself later on in the combat phase if an enemy or ally dies -- which cards like Squire of the Citadel and Valiant Sacrifice take advantage of.
And finally, Beregond will be your main tank. Get him beefed up with Gondorian Shield and Citadel Plate he can fend off almost any attack. If you are engaged with multiple foes, bring in a Defender of Rammas to watch his flanks.
