Lord Toby 30
Having failed to build a successful Outlands deck to go into Ithilien I was pleased to have some success with this one. There are a few different combinations that work effectively here but patience is essential. Henamarth Riversong and Shadow of the Past provide control over the encounter deck, and can sometimes avoid the oliphaunt or bring a ranger into play. Allow time for sufficient Outlands allies to join you in the first and second/third stage, as there are often few turns available in the final stage, which will likely be a siege. Try to reserve Gandalf for threat reduction only. It's often worth, in the latter stages, attaching A Burning Brand to allies who may not survive an attack, to avoid some of the threat raising and double attack shadow effects. I haven't yet found much need for Errand-rider as Bifur's ability provides sufficient redistribution of resources, as well as providing a low starting threat.
