doomguard 2121
a trial to build a good harad-deck:
the unique benefit that harad has, is the using of allies in your hand. to make the most of that you need to draw much allies.
so one of the best ally-draws are The Eagles Are Coming! that with the contract can be used for harad-allies too.
so the strategy is simple: in this order:
- use contract for The Eagles Are Coming!, if possible
- use contract for Kahliel's Headdress to increase questing of eagles
- if not in play, and enough res use contract for Kahliel ability to play for Eagles of the Misty Mountains
- consider use Kahliels 2. ability to discard an ally for refresh of a big eagle
is it better than same deck with dwarfes instead of harad? i think its kind of equal. you do not need Kahliel's Headdress for bonus, but you can make more of the (doubles-uniques) allies in your hand and the unique allies of harad are stronger than these of most other traits (specialy Jubayr and Firyal) the fighting will be mostly taken care of, by the eagles, no matter what other trait.
This looks great. I wish Harad had just a bit more support, Eagles is great to shore it up.
