A while ago, I realized that what was wrong with everybody's "Sneak attack Gandalf every turn" decks was simply they took too long to set up. So, I reasoned, why doesn't someone make a deck that can recur something to protect a powerful early game hero? And everyone knows that Powerful Early Game Hero means Beorn in Sindarin. So, I decided to make a deck that could infinitely recur... Landroval + Sneak Attack. You see, I didn't notice the once per game limit, and so, in ignorant bliss built a very streamlined deck. I was very pleased with myself. I would build the next one deck, I told myself, I will leave a mark on this community. Then, of course, I noticed the restriction, and was bitter. But then I figured I might as well recur another event. I settled on the Houses of Healing, as a sort of cheap Fortune or Fate. And so, I humbly present this deck. I chose Orophin over Celeborn because of the threat -- it gives me a couple of rounds to turtle, hopefully play my sidequest, and get my engine up and running. The core should be familiar to many. Use the Elvenking to recur Galadhrim Weaver, and in turn use her to recur THoH. Of course, because there is plenty of time between rounds when you will need to do that, you can recur other things, like Feint, Beorn's Rage, Elrond's Council, Escort from Edoras, etc. It's great fun. And of course, when it's shuffled back into your deck, Mirror of Galadriel should get it for you. Steward goes on Galadriel, and she should pay for most of your allies. Drop a Song of Wisdom on Orophin, so that he can use his resources to pay for Houses of Healing. This deck does best with a Ranged or Questing deck, but it can hold its own solo. Proof: I beat Journey down the Anduin and ended up with a threat of 24. Threat control is very good, but locations can get out of hand on occasion. Feel free to add a Woodland Courier, or a Northern Tracker, etc. Warden of Arnor is also fun, and turns Orophin into a sort of location control Thalin. Very very effective when combined with a Tracker or two. Enjoy!

That's a cool idea. You might consider Halfast Gamgee as a MotK hero for a slightly lower starting threat, a boost in the early game resources (you could even play a Round 1 Steward with him) and the option to better use Drinking Song

Thanks a lot! The problem is that Elvenking is the only way of returning silvan allies to the hand, so I would have to have Elf-friend on Halfast, and that seems like a few too many pieces to get out reliably. But I will try it!

there are more cheap healer out there:

supercheap: Ioreth mediumcheap: Warden of Healing Imladris Caregiver (if you do not have the dreamcheaserpackage it might be worth ;) )

if u want to dig into alep, then the Roving Herbmaster

@returning silvans, the Feigned Voices might be a better soloution, o.k. only 3 times in a game but do you think you play more than 6 The Houses of Healing in a single game? and with it you might save the bear another time.

See, what I found was that I didn't need healers to afford the Houses of Healing, because the resources on Orophin built up. I want repeatable recursion because that also helps me get Escort from Edoras and my tactics events.
