I didn't really use A Burning Brand, so you can switch for something else. Attach Book of Mazarbul to Bifur so you can quest and defend. Increase Dwaling attack so you can finishi the weaker orcs alone and recude your threat. Be careful on the second step of the quest, if you let many enemies on the staging area it's probably a loss.
