The White Wizard 544
As the name implies, this is a deck designed to survive the long haul. It's a little different from what I normally build, but I wanted to give it a try. The allies are pretty standard, with the Ents forming the core of your combat force. Aragorn and Glorfindel are also key in combat. The events help with card draw and resource smoothing, and the attachments are self explanatory. Have Fun!

Jul 15, 2017Thanks for the feedback! Interestingly, this deck is not really a turtle deck. It tries to address the problem a lot of aggro decks have, namely, not being able to survive for longer than a few rounds. I'll try that substitution and see how it goes! |
Jul 15, 2017On second thought it seems like Treebeard would be your main defender, so I would actually cut a copy of Quickbeam for A Test of Will instead. I use the term "turtle" to refer to just about any deck that takes a more protective and endurance based approach to the game. Generally, aggro is full of power, and turtle has a lot of answers and tricks. Until we agree on another term to distinguish endurance decks from tricky, cheesy decks, I kinda consider them to be in the same category. |
Jul 15, 2017Ah, ok. That's sound reasoning. Thanks again for the feedback. |
Looks fairly good, "turtle" decks like this that are built for endurance can be fun. I would likely swap a copy of Treebeard for another copy of A Test of Will though.
