This deck is designed to get past the Watcher either way, exploiting the brothers' action advantage to keep the board clear of tentacles. When the opportunity comes to use Durin's door, Shadow of the Past plus a large number of matching letters for the most common encounter cards should make it easy, while Quick Strike plus Rivendell Blade on Elladan allow you to make quick work of the watcher as well.
