[...] and Yavanna returned to Aulë; and he was in his smithy, pouring molten metal into a mould. 'Eru is bountiful,' she said. 'Now let thy children beware! For there shall walk a power in the forests whose wrath they will arouse at their peril.'

The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien

This deck features every tree-shepherd and all of Rossiel's shenanigans.

All ents enter game exhausted, so sometimes it can be slow to set up if you don't have the right cards in the first rounds. This is compensated by the low starting threat.

Mulligan for Treebeard and try to get so many allies as possible (the ones can be played gathering enough resources with Treebeard or via the Elf-stone). The Entmoot and the Mithrandir's Advice should give you enough drawing as soon as you get them in your hand, giving you more freedom of choice.

At the beginning you should quest with all heroes until you are able to play Leave No Trace and get the extra 2 on Rossiel and a couple of allies on the table. After that I like to keep Argalad ready in case one of those nasty 1 and 2 enemies with horrible "after engaging..." effects walks in. At the end of the travel phase you can exhaust Argalad to destroy it before it triggers its effect.

The other funny thing is to try to get all of your ents damaged, at least with one wound, so you can trigger the Booming Ent and the Leaflock and bonus.

If you manage to do all that (which due to the "enters play exhausted" can prove difficult sometimes), you will have some powerful questers and attackers, and the defenders you choose will be healed each round by the Wellinghall Preserver.

Please, any suggestions to improve this deck are welcomed, but keeping in mind that I enjoy doing thematic decks!

Probably the deck would be better with Thurindir rather than Argalad to grap Scout Ahead on set up. But not sure if your thematic rules let you do this.

Anyway a couple of copies of The road goes ever on would be good to find scout ahead. Also put in gather information just in case to have another side quest if you draw into the scout one.

Hi! Thanks for the comment, I'll switch Argalad for Thurindir (I had the hero, but never really read the ability ^^U). My thematic rules could be flexible, let's say a ranger lost himself in the woods hahahaha

If you put Thurindir, witch is great, you have to put at least another side quest. Gather information is the best one for me in this case.

Also, dunedain pipe is a great draw card even better with all those unique allies with 2 or 3 copies each.
