I wanted to build a deck with Haldir where the goal is to kill stuff in the staging area before it can engage me. So far this deck has worked surprisingly well.
The sideboard are just cards I've been messing with. I'm not sure the Minstrel is really necessary.
Denethor seems like the odd hero in this deck. I use him for defense, but rarely use his ability. I'm only using the cards I actually own, but if there would be a better choice for a defender let me know.
Spirit Frodo from CatC might be a good choice. Or you could use a Tactics defender to splash weapons for Haldir, though this would make your starting threat higher.
