This is my first Dale deck right out of the gate. For more elaboration on the cards I picked, check this article on the blog: https://visionofthepalantir.com/2018/06/14/first-impressions-wilds-of-rhovanion/

Given your article's commentary on the value of King of Dale, and how a total of five of your deck's allies cannot be play without it, I'm confused as to why you only have two of them listed for this deck. Was that a mistake or am I just missing something?

Also, I LOVE the choice of Lanwyn for the third hero here. Finally a quality deck archetype that makes sense for her!

@The Purple Wizard Thank you for that question. King of Dale is indeed a clutch card to get early in the game, but I am still debating if it is worth putting 3 in your deck. Any copies you draw into after you have played it are dead on arrival. You can definitely swap out a Grappling Hook for another copy if you like. I am still finding the right balance between allies and attachments, so I might update the deck in the future. More card draw might also solve the lack of the extra King of Dale.

Looks like a great deck and I'm looking forward to playing it when I get Wilds later. Did you manage to take it through the three quests in the box yet?

@Dixxie Flatline I have managed to win against Into Mirkwood with it, but since that, I have made some adjustments to it in order to get more card draw and to get King of Dale out earlier. I have yet to win against Journey Up the Anduin with it, but that is just because the quest is pretty hard in true solo.

@Durins_Father Thanks for letting me know. I mostly play true solo now so I look forward to getting my head kicked in on that one!
