Tried to make a Rohan deck with limited available cards. Heavy focus on progress/questing. High starting threat, but hope to manage that with fast questing and some threat reduction cards (Gandalf, The Galadhrim's Greeting). Théoden for reducing Rohan ally costs, Aragorn for support (defender, readying).

The collection I had when building this deck:

  • Core Set
  • Hunt for Gollum
  • Conflict at the Carrock
  • Journey to Rhosgobel
  • Dead Marshes
  • Return to Mirkwood

  • Black Riders
  • Road Darkens
  • Treason of Saruman
  • Land of Shadow

  • Khazad-dûm

It's a bit of an experimental deck, mainly because I love the be thematic. Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions for a good Rohan deck with the above collection!

Just a word of advice. I would drop Will of the West, We do not Sleep, one Ever Vigilant, and one Astonishing Speed to add Sneak Attack. This also brings the deck down to fifty cards.

@Wandalf the Gizzard Thanks for the advice! I have dropped Will of the West, one Ever Vigilant and one Astonishing Speed and added Sneak Attack. Since there is a focus on allies, I thought Will of the West to be worth the 5 resources. I'm keeping that one till I have tested it several times, maybe to discover you were right all along haha.

(ps I honestly do not know how to update this public deck to a new version with your changes)

You can republish the deck quite easily with an update. As too We do not Sleep (I think that's what you meant), its effect is certainly powerful, but it's always a better choice to play more allies, Galadhrim's Greeting, etc with that massive stack of five resources.
