Protect the Queen !

This fellowship is meant for the first of the quests of ALEP Deluxe Expansion "The Children of Eorl". It uses cards up to the Lost Realm (my state of the game...) and some allies from the Deluxe itself.

It is constructed with two main ideas :

• Very strong defense. If all is well, no ally gets destroyed in the course of the game : Beregond, Erkenbrand, Gondorian Shield) and Dúnedain Mark see to it. Sentinel is THE keyword of the game. For good measure and cases of emergency, Gondorian Spearman is important too.

• Cheap cards. There is two reasons for that.

  1. The loot mecanism : if there is no card in hand because they are already played, there is no card to take back from Dunlendings clutches... 2. The bonuses pillaging swordsman and bandit ringleader gets from the looted cards. Pillaging swordsman gets +X to his attacks, x being the cost of the most expensive card in his loot pile. Bondit ringleader heals wounds depending the number of different costs in his loot pile.

The second deck is a control and questing one, with Eleanor to counter Cold from the mountains, and protect the allies. As treacheries are not the most dire in the game, it was not necessary to include A test of will, and, moreso, it is difficult to keep cards in hand.
