Axe and Anvil

Carder89 104

Description

Both decks can play out allies at a good pace. The allies can even stay on the board, because these decks don't need as many chump blockers. Both Gimli and Glóin like to take undefended attacks, which of course generates more resources and more damage on enemies.

Willpower is no problem either, because of all the allies that stay in play, the Glóin deck's ability to quickly play either Northern Tracker or Faramir and the natural willpower of Éowyn. It is very important that Éowyn does not get captured in Escape from Dol Guldur. Against that quest I would also rather use Legolas than Thalin. In case Gimli gets captured, you have another attacker. Against the second quest, I like Thalin as he deals with the Eastern Crows and weakens enemies quickly so the many allies can kill them.
