Background

Two roommates brave the Mines of Moria! Using these decks we were able to beat every scenario in the Khazad-dûm Deluxe Expansion.

These decks are built using one core set, one copy of each AP from the Hunt from Gollum cycle, and one copy of the Khazad-dûm Deluxe Expansion

Hunter's Deck

This is the primary questing deck. It also has some card draw options, resource smoothing, and threat reduction. Éowyn is going to be a dedicated quester. Dwalin can be great to reduce threat or quest in a pinch. You cannot play the Khazad-dûm expansion without using Dáin Ironfoot his card ability is great with all the dwarves included in these decks.

Brent's Deck

This is the primary offensive and defense deck. It also has some minor healing, temporary threat evasion options, and plenty of heavy-hitting attachments. I think committing Thalin to every quest is a no brainer. While Dáin Ironfoot is in play in Hunter's Deck Thalin quests for 2 plus his card ability is super helpful damaging and, in some cases, killing enemies. It is always fun to stack Gimli with a Citadel Plate and one of the weapon attachments to cause a lot of damage. Bifur is good to quest with or possibly defend. His card ability also helps buy some of the high cost cards.
