One version of a semi-thematic (hero choice only) deck that I have been taking through a saga campaign with a friend's companion Théoden-Éowyn-Erkenbrand deck. In this campaign, Gríma redeems himself and accompanies Frodo and the Ring to Mt. Doom (we did remove the Grima enemy card from The Road to Isengard).
This gets revised for every scenario, with this most recent version having defeated Journey to the Cross-roads without allowing any Oliphaunts to escape (it used Straight Shot but I did remove that from this deck list). It can need some help with defense, that is where Erkenbrand comes in.
