This is one of the 2 decks for Journey In The Dark in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.) It took me 3 tries to get 2 wins in Easy Mode (which is not easy at all). One of the wins was completed before the Balrog showed up.
Boons: Anduril is included in this deck. Aragorn has Noble Hero. Sam has Tireless Ranger. Frodo has Mr. Underhill and Old-Bogey Stories.
After doing the first 6 quests using a Hobbit deck and a non-Hobbit deck, JitD forced major changes to improve resource management and fighting ability.
You really want a questing buff in your opening hand --- and there are lots of cards that will do that.
The Dúnedain Warnings are for Gandalf in the other deck. I also put Expert Treasure-hunter on Gandalf as well. First Fast Hitch goes on Frodo.
I love how thematic Rosie Cotton is. Obviously she's not in Moria with you. But the memory of her (and home) inspires our Hobbits to greater deeds.
