This is a newly updated write up for the deck, know that I have caved in and added steward to it.

Tactics Imrahil competes for Gandalf as my favorite hero in this game. I love his ability and excitement that comes from using it every turn. I wanted to build a thematic deck with him, and someone on discord recommended Hirluin the Fair and to attempt and build an outland deck with him. And so, this is the result. I haven't tested the deck so far, but it was able to defeat Escape from Umbar, which says something for a deck that doesn't have healing. The general strategy of this deck will vary on your quest and if you are playing solo or multiplayer.

Ideally, you want in your starting hand a Prince of Dol Amroth to make sure you are going to be able to use Imrahil's ability to target all the allies in your deck. You are still running ten allies that share printed traits with him, so, if you don't get this card in your mulligan, the ability still has a decent chance of triggering. A Heir of Mardil on him turn one ain't bad either, as with Denethor you are going to be able to trigger it consistently.

Depending on the quest, and if you are running Solo and have no help for questing, you might want to prioritize an Ethir Swordsman in hand as he contributes 3 out of the gate.

The rest of the decks kind of plays itself. Steward of Gondor is there to boost Hirluin's resources to pay for all those Outland allies, and to give him the Gondor trait, to get Denethor's resources if necessary. For consistent card draw, Rod of the Steward can go either on Imrhail or Hirluion with Steward, taking advantage of Denethor resources to activate it necessary. Gondorian Shield goes on Denethor during the early game. Since you don't have healing, he can't consistently defend a 6+ attack enemy, so during the mid to late game can also put one on Imrahil, who should be able to defend and attack, boosted now by the outland allies.

All in all, a fun and slightly thematic deck to play.]
