Mythik 202

The core idea of this deck is to have some measure of control over what the encounter deck can do right from turn 1. Firyal's ability is amazing and can help dodge the game ending treacheries, and Erkenbrand's response means we don't have to worry about shadows when he's defending. The low starting threat helps manage engagements towards the start of the game so we can limit the number of defences that Erkenbrand can't take.

There isn't a ton of card draw in this deck, so I've tried to maximise the likelihood of being able to play any given card in the deck - the only duplicate unique is Light of Valinor, and the only other card where the second copy can't be played is Armored Destrier. There are a couple of search effects in the deck to find a given card if the quest demands it.

The allies are all cheap and cost effective except for the Elfhelm and Faramir, and those have abilities that are worth the resources. the neutral allies help to make sure we can avoid stockpiling resources if needed, and the Rangers also provide the backup defensive options if we find too many enemies for Erkenbrand to deal with himself. There isn't an ally in the deck that doesn't have willpower, so there can be a reasonable questing push if the quest demands it.

While it won't do overly well at Battle or Siege questing, this deck has answers to most questions the encounter deck can throw at it.

consider put in some DĂșnedain Warning would replace 1 Ancestral Armor and 2 Ranger of Cardolan (you have no dunedainhero)

would include the 3. Ethir Swordsman discard 1 Eryn Galen Settler or Mablung for it.

if you want more neutral-allies, take Treebeard
