Ho! Tom Bombadil, Tom Bombadillo! By water, wood and hill, by the reed and willow, By fire, sun and moon, harken now and hear us! Come, Tom Bombadil, for our need is near us!

Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow, Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow. None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master: His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.

This is another deck made using the Legacy of Fëanor fan-made expansion, using the really neat hero Tom Bombadil. His text reads that he can play Song cards of any sphere, and that if any round you do not play a Song, he goes prancing away. Here's a list of the atrociously many proxies:

Gandalf → Tom Bombadil (a hero with 12 stats but only 6 threat!)

Arwen Undómiel → Fatty Lumpkin (gives Tom +1 everything)

Saruman → Goldberry (searches for Songs and buffs Tom)

Vilya → Tom Bombadil's Flute (helps pay for Songs and readies Tom)

The Galadhrim's Greeting → River Song (lowers your threat by X)

Fierce Defense → Song of Conquest (deals X damage to an enemy)

Lórien's Wealth → Song of the Trees (draws X cards)

Reinforcements → Song of the Legends (lowers the cost of an ally by X)

Open the Armory → Let's Sing Again! (reshuffles all Songs into your deck)

Grab Strider as your starting attachment and look for lots of Songs in your opening hand. The best cards to get at the start are Master of the Forge, Tom Bombadil's Flute, and hopefully some Song attachments and events. Heed the Dream, Daeron's Runes, Drinking Song, Master of the Forge, Spare Pipe, and Goldberry all serve the purpose of digging songs out of your deck.

This deck starts out a bit slow, but since your threat is only SIX you don't really have to worry. Spare Pipe and Fatty Lumpkin both serve to beef up Tom, and eventually he should have 4 , 4 , 4 , and 7 . With all the deck searching, you should be able to get all your songs out pretty quickly, and that'll set you up for victory. Just make sure to stay in secrecy!

When Tom's all decked out, he'll have 8 different songs attached to him, and that's where the fun begins. You can use River Song to reduce your threat by 8, Song of Conquest to deal 8 damage to an enemy engaged with you, Song of the Legends to play any card for free, and (my personal favorite) Song of the Trees to draw....EIGHT CARDS!!!

That being said, every successful game I've played with this deck I've ended at 0 threat, with 0 cards in my deck, which is why I don't really feel too bad played a 59 card deck here. In the end, I always wished I had more cards anyways. However, it is a little bit finicky or inconsistent before you get setup. Usually starting with such low threat balances that out, but I've had bad games.

In all though, this is a really fun deck and Tom Bombadil is a really great hero. Again, great job on the expansion, Marc! I think you've succeeded in creating some real fun cards.
