Key Idea
Mulligan (or aggressively dig) for Vilya & Asfaloth, knock out locations, and use Elrond to swarm in expensive allies & set up for board control with allies.
Hero Notes
Use Prince Imrahil to cheat in effect cards early, making sure to have resources on him to spend during combat phase.
Elrond’s resources should be available for early plays of off-sphere allies (Squire of the Citadel etc.), but can otherwise be spent.
Glorfindel will be looking for Asfaloth or Westfold Horse-breeder, and will pair his healing with Elrond’s.
Deck Tips
During combat, evaluate Prince Imrahil temporary allies as defender/attacker by board state- key things to look for include ensuring Mithlond Sea-watcher triggers, holding Watcher of the Bruinen for multiple mid/late game defends when extra cards are in hand, proper spiking with Last Stand, etc. Where possible, do not use Gildor Inglorion or Imladris Stargazer for fatal blocks, as they can both increase reliability of Elrond/Vilya plays.
