Why include Round Shield and Golden Belt? Is the Round Shield's occasional boost worth it? Also, why not cut Beorning Beekeeper and Secret Paths to add Daeron's Runes and keep the deck at 50 cards?

Round shield is a decent early game card that saved my skin a couple of times at the Con. I packed it because we were playing the Agaonxt the Shadow cycle where the shadows are really nasty, especially at the beginning. Just a bit of insurance. Golden Belt was in there for if I played Raiment of War and wanted to play War Axe or something. The reason I have 51 cards is because I built this deck physically and I apparently can't count hahaha. No Daeron's Runes is just because I overlooked it. Common mistake for me.

Do you think that there's a possibility to use the core of this deck to build a solo version? Or its better to use it with a more willpower focused deck by its side?

You should be able to with Éowyn for more willpower. You would also probably want Pippin.

@Rajatz If you want to play solo Beornings, there are definitely some better options out there. This deck was built at the same time as four others so I had a lot of the card pool gone, plus I didn't even have a full card pool yet.
