if the troll (or any very scary enemy with engagementcost of 30) is around, search for Elrond's Counsel to gain more than a round to build up.

else ofc search for vilya. if you do not get the ring, use (MotK) Gildor Inglorion ability try to get it in the next 3 cars of your deck, if even that do not work, play a Master of the Forge to get it fast.

playing advice :

use vilya every round, together with (MotK) Gildor Inglorion you will get a valuable target, either from your hand or in the top 3 of your deck.

as soon as Elrond has a Cloak of Lórien or a A Burning Brand he can defend the troll. if it have to be done moroften make sure to have healing out.

Light of Valinor goes to Glorfindel evrything elso to elrond, do not worry if he piles up 4 actions per round, mostly you can use them.

if you get a Imladris Stargazer out (MotK) Gildor Inglorion can quest or defend.
