“Never is too long a word even for me...”

If anyone will still stand At the End of All Things, it must be Treebeard, the "oldest living thing that still walks beneath the Sun upon this Middle-earth," and his companion Bregalad. Joined by a great moot of Ents, "young master" Gandalf, a couple of hasty hobbits, and a few other hangers on, this last march promises to bring a world of pain on any lingering orc mischief.

This is a pretty straightforward Ent deck that uses the high of these heroes, boosted further by Ent Draught, and the extra stats and readying from the contract to bide time while the Ent army arrives. They can quest for 6+, defend for 4, and attack for 5 out of the gate for the cost of 3 damage and no additional cards -- not bad! Feint and Boomed and Trumpeted can help in the early rounds, too.

Mulligan hard for Seasoned Forager in your opening hand. It's also nice to see the Ent Draught early. When it's time to flip, there's a few utility cards that I often grab -- Magic Ring for Treebeard, Warden of Healing, Favor of the Valar, and Ioreth are all universally useful. But in a pinch I can nab Gandalf (usually for threat reduction) or The Dam Bursts if I know it's going to be a big round and either Pippin or Robin are in play. You might also reach for cards like Thrór's Map, Woodmen's Clearing, or Self Preservation depending on the situation.

Nice pun, I thought it was a typo

I'm not too proud to admit that this deck originated with a pun.

Well, the idea of using the powerful Ent heroes to survive the first few turns is still good.
