A thematic deck designed to handle quests that require both a high will power and decent combat turn one. Sam's ready ability makes him able to quest for three and easily defend, if Dúnedain Hunter successfully comes in play these values go up by one. With an incredibly low resource curve and global threat management this deck allows the Hobbits to ease through the first turn or two while the remainder of your fellowship (multiplayer friends) builds up. Use of unique and powerful 'common' cards is limited to allow for fellowship play.

This combo will scare your fellowship but should be no risk to the Hobbits: Sam Gamgee & Pippin will ensure your Dúnedain Hunter is less of a boon. If you pull a frightful enemy use Hobbit Cloak, Dagger of Westernesse, Protector of Lórien and/or Feint turn one to mitigate consequences.

Do not underestimate OHaUH Gandalf as a late game push for these early game Hobbits.

Many sideboards to consider including Gandalf + Sneak, additional healing or staging/quest manipulation. Though I recommend you don't stray from letting this be an early first turn powerhouse deck. The deck plays well solo against the mid tier challenging quests.

This deck was inspired from TalesFromtheCards and a personal goal to make resource curve a priority in LoTR.

As I begin to play multiplayer I tweaked it slightly to include less uniques and included Campfire Tales and Take no Notice. The Secret Vigil added some global threat reduction but is one of the first cards to be sideboard (or perma removed).
