playing mount doom with hobbits i think Fireside Song is mandatory! and only Rosie Cotton as ally + some sneaked Gandalf with that koniuration i made it in 6 turns (not campainmode if nazguls are there rom the start it is muuuch harder, make sure to kill them in black gate)

I would suggest playing "protector of lorien", its always great to have a card dealing with dead cards in your hand. "Steward of Gondor" is always an auto include imo, ofc as long as your fellow player doesn't run it. If you play the campaign, make sure to finde space for Frodo's intuition for more carddraw.
