Things my friend said while playing this deck: "Gandalf has 11 and, need any help?"
"Gandalf just one shot the witch-king and Eagles of the Misty Mountains slaughtered the other guy"
"This deck is too OP"
Honestly, this deck is a load of fun to use. It's great to see an Eagles of the Misty Mountains with 10 facedown attachments, and the look on other players faces when they hear that Gandalf is a 10 is hilarious. I can't help but smile when something like that happens.
The strategy to this deck is pretty simplistic. You basically need to see a Wizard Pipe or Vilya(or both) in your starting hand as the only 'resource generation' in the deck is Vilya. Vilya is more important, but Wiard Pipe or Word of Command will work too. Then just keep on using Wizard Pipe and Gandalf's ability and Vilya to swarm the eagles!
Please leave a like. I want to review some more cards, but need more likes to do it. Also, please comment on ways to improve the deck. Good night, and big eagles!
Swarmy, swarm, swarm, Swarm...
P.S Don't put Expert Treasure-hunter on Elrond because he'll be exhausted from Vilya, but not too exhausted to bathe in Gandalf's glory.

I AM SO GLAD THEY FINALLY CAME OUT WITH A HERO SO MY NAME MEANS SOMETHING, THANKS FANTASY FLIGHT
Liked! I'm in the same dilemma, but have plenty of reputation. I'm held back because I buy progression style and don't want to spoil any cards for myself.
