Well, to start this bad boy off, this is one wicked combination of heroes, and I doubt I need to you readers that. Nevertheless, I'll explain it briefly.

At first glance, this deck looks like every other Gandalf/ Elrond deck, but THIS IS NOT THE CASE! True, I do have the Vilyas, Gandalf's Staffs, Shadowfax, and Flame of Anors in all run-of-the-mill Gandalf decks, but what sets it apart(besides also being an eagle deck) is that I have utterly desecrated and abused one card. The whole deck basically revolves around the card. In this deck, Gandalf's Search IS BROKEN.

Here is what I mean: Once you get Vilya on Elrond and Wizard Pipe on Gandalf or Radagast, then we can get this deck-a-rollin'(to get any of these cards, use Expert Treasure-hunter and Daeron's Runes to get 'em into yer hand). If you have Gandalf's Search in your hand, then use Vilya and Wizard Pipe to put it on top of your deck and play for it for FREE! Since it's free, use it to look at every card in your deck, put any one you choose into your hand, and REARRANGE THE WHOLE DECK IN ANY ORDER! You just saved like 40ish resources. Take that people who thought Gandalf's Search was terrible and useless.

But wait, there's more. Inspiring Presence is also a great card in this deck, especially in multiplayer. When you play it, choose Gandalf. Since, there is no other hero with a higher or equel threat cost as Gandalf, every other hero in the game gets +2 and if the other players help and pay an extra 2 resources, then all those heroes also get +2!

Flame of Anor, as always, is great, and could get Gandalf up to +5.

To play Support of the Eagles, you will need A Good Harvest to play it on a hero, or use Gandalf's ability(because he gets the , , , and icons when playing cards from the top of your deck). Getting A Good Harvest shouldn't be a problem to aquire because of the previously mentioned Gandalf's Search combo.

The White Council was thematic for the deck, so I included it. The Eagles Are Coming! cards are used to get more into your hand.

Eagles of the Misty Mountains becomes very powerful, several turns into the game, and Support of the Eagles can be used on this to give a hero an extra boost in a stat, depending on what is needed.

Sword-thain was put in the deck for my own personal amusement. I always wanted to have a Gwaihir and Radagast hero, now I can have one. A eagle hero for a eagle themed deck, my dream has come true at last. Also, if Radagast is made a hero, then he collects 2 resources per turn!
