With only the core set I would suggest you add Protector of Lórien instead of Lore of Imladris. It will also fix the occasional willpower shortage. With the card draw you have and Self Preservation included it is unlikely that your defender will ever have damage accumulated.

Your attack is a bit of a problem - if you are playing solo questing/drawing/defending will leave you no hero to attack. Consider adding Son of Arnor. He can also save you a big attack when used with Sneak Attack after the enemy attack step has passed.
