The goal here is to give everyone else a ton of cards and resources, and then get yourself killed so that one fewer card appears in Staging. Doomed cards can accomplish this, but letting your heroes take undefended attacks is also acceptable.
Most important in starting hand, by far: Song of Kings. Build up, draw, and then use Protector of Lórien during Planning if you need to discard. Galdor of the Havens gets you six cards to keep going, and a good draw can get you through your whole deck in turn one.
Drop all Expert Treasure-hunter and Cram on other players. Good Meal can enable Lórien's Wealth, preferably on someone else, but it's good to save a few to send to Merry. Watch out for the other players threat; hopefully one or two The Galadhrim's Greeting can be played in the first turn.
