Extra, extra -- read all about it! Dateline, Lake-town. A conglomeration of heroes from across Middle Earth have joined forces to combat the conflagration of Smaug! Led by the heroic Dori the Magnificent, this band of intrepid adventures aims to extinguish the flame of the great dragon!!
The Con of the Rings planning crew met up to take on The Battle of Lake-Town, but my trusty Dori deck needed some tweaking to deal with the various attacks of Smaug. Out went all of the sentinel allies, as Beregond and Dori would be able to handle defending Smaug all on their own, and in came ranged allies, a bit of additional damage reduction, and a lot of card draw. This deck routinely starts with Beregond at 6 and 6-8 on turn one, PLUS don't forget that Dori is also there!
In a hilarious side note, this appears to be the only published Beravor/Beregond/Dori deck on RingsDB, so you know that means it's quality!
Perhaps some Warden of Healing to provide some healing and have a use for the Lore resources?
