This deck was created in an interesting and almost thematic way . I was trying to build a Three Hunters deck with Core Aragorn, but it was not working because I couldn't generate enough ressources for Gimli, Aragorn and Elven-light for Legolas while still playing other cards. Also I always wanted to build a good Dunedain solo deck that was thematic, but couldn't muster enough starting willpower with just Dunedain heores.

And the two ideas did come together and were combined to a deck, just like the Three Hunters meet the Dunedain Rangers and combine their forces. Halbarad can take the place of Coragorn, helping with questing an combat while not needing extra ressources. Gimli with an Armored Destrier allows to ready Halbarad even more and gain enough defenses to handle all the enemies we want to engage, while he and Legolas provide decent starting willpower

The one key card you want to mulligan for is Elven-light, and finding it early will very often decide between victory or defeat. There are not many spirit cards in this deck, because it is designed to Elven-Light every round. To increase our chances to find it, we play Gather Information with 3 Dúnedain Messages that we can also search out with Weather Hills Watchman. We can quest for 6 just with our heroes while keeping a defender up, so often we can explore Gather Info very fast and get our Elven-Light. Ancient Mathom helps as well, if we don't have Elven-Light yet we can use our spirit ressources to increase our chance to get it.

There are some more Signals in the deck. They are thematic (a Grey Company deck shouldn't spam allies and rely more on attachments) but also Dúnedain Warning and Dúnedain Remedy are essentiel to keep Gimli alive. Also the Remedy synergizes nicely with Dwarven Shield. We still need lots of ressources for Gimli and Elven-Light, so Rune-master can help to both generate and smooth them. It can also allow us to stack ressources on Halbarad and use Blood of Númenor to have a way to handle 5+ attack enemies.

This deck doesn't go the full Dunedain synergy route, but we want to keep one enemy engaged for Halbarad and Star Brooch, and Andrath Guardsman can help us to do so.
