Disclaimer: it's a deck part of a Fellowship (see below) my gaming group is playing to tackle The Hobbit saga expansions thematically.
This a very simple "5 Dwarf characters" deck making the most of Ori, Thorin Oakenshield, Bifur, Glóin paired with a Fellowship Contract deck. So of course, all the allies in the deck are , which is both very thematic (to build some kind of Thorin's company, although I took some liberties with the actual companions, and the fact that they were 13 and not 9, but WHATEVER) and very simple.
Piloting the deck is very simple:
0) mulligan hard for King Under the Mountain, because it's a card game and you want to draw.
Then (or before if your starting hand allows you to make that amazing move from the start):
1) play at least two allies, they get you to 5 Dwarves. You get more resources out of Thorin Oakenshield and more cards out of Ori. It also allows you to play A Very Good Tale, that honestly have few chance to whiff, considering there are 21 allies, nearly all of them being 3-costed.
2) You're now at 7 Dwarves (maybe 8 if one of the Dwarves you play from your hand was Fili), generating resources to play a 8th, a 9th... and triggering the Contract. The rest is a breeze, especially if you slam a Hardy Leadership on the table, like a boss.
Side notes: -- the Cram goes on Dáin Ironfoot of the other deck, hat is the primary defender of the group. -- fun fact: Brok Ironfist is interesting in a Fellowship environment, if you happen to lose a hero, put him into play and he's instantly restoring the Contract to side B. A safety valve, but not useless!
