I just built a deck like this (3 cores), and after 1 play it was obvious to me that the deck is handicapped with hero vulnerability, poor selection of cheap allies (and total number), and resource generation. Fortune or Fate is necessary, but after a hero is killed their resources go with it, so it won't be easy to play. Considering that, it might be just as useful to have 1x citadel plate to prevent the resource loss, instead. Horn of Gondor helps add some resources. I like unexpected courage on Dunhere, to soften staging area enemies then to team with Legolas to make quest progress. Three Cores is necessary to optimize because you can use 3x Dwarven Tomb, which allows you to run only 2x of the Spirit staple events and bring back allies. I really enjoy this deck, glad to see others with a similar mindset. Getting kills with Legolas is satisfying.
