This deck beat Into Fangorn on the first attempt in 3 rounds.
I read that willpower and healing are good to have for this quest. Core Glorfindel serves for both. His healing is very useful for the quest. Daughter of the Nimrodel can also heal and quest. Secret Paths and Radagast's Cunning for more on demand quest power.
A bunch of cheap allies to ramp questing especially if can get Faramir out.
Power of Orthanc for condition removal.
Gandalf likely will need to reduce threat considering all the Doomed cards.
Steward should go on Glorfindl since the Lore cards can be expensive and resources needed for healing. Gloin also provides some resource acceleration especially if can get a Daughter of the Nimrodel or 2 out. The game likely won't last that long.
Saruman provides a nice questing boost. Also helpful if need to attack and remove a troublesome Huron.
