Support deck to play with a Sentinel deck against surge-heavy quests, which you cancel via the combo of Far-sighted and Minas Tirith Lampwright, who you recycle with Stand and Fight or Dwarven Tomb.

Far-sighted sees cards coming, to guarantee Lampwright cancels the card after a surge (at times with its own surge). I'd also know upcoming shadow cards, or poised to cancel another card with another Lampwright next round.

And because the surge itself has triggered, Lanwyn can still do her thing.

As a fun bonus, use Palantir on Glorfindel to use on turns where you've played Far-sighted, if you can afford to let Glorfindel exhaust that round.

Fun to use 3 cards that I don't normally use (Far-sighted, Palantir, and Minas Tirith Lampwright), even if it's only for surge-heavy quests.

This is a fun idea. I really like the use of the Palantir also. Have you considered the Scout Ahead side quest?

like it aswell, now only if you could bring back Far-sighted from the discard pile as well that would be awesome :). Perhaps including Scroll of Isildur and swapping to two lore heroes?

Hero Sméagol! You can see when Stinker is coming up ;). Ok maybe not. But you could try the dwarf that shuffles back a card from your discard pile. The Ered Luin Prospector?
