emanuelepane has a newer deck inspired by this one: Hobbits take on Shadows of Mirkwood
This is my first attempt at deckbuilding, aimed at learning about card synergies and theme.
I am trying to slowly build a thematic Hobbit deck for the Shadows of Mirkwood cycle as solo. The deck foundation is the recommended deck from The Black Riders Saga Expansion. For the rest, I am sticking to progression rules: only Core Set cards and cards from the current AP can be used.
Roles are quite obvious:
- Sam Gamgee is the quester
- Merry is the attacker
- Pippin is the defender
In this iteration, I am getting ready for Journey to Rhosgobel by introducing Creature and Ranged allies.
