When I saw hero Gwahir I knew immediately that he would be an ideal Grey Wanderer choice. The contract helps get around his not readying, Eagles and expensive Ally Radagast love to be snuck in for cheap with Timely Aid and he has particularly robust stats to be able to hold his own, on his own.

Mulligan for your secrecy cards Timely Aid and Resourceful and hopefully a The Eagles are coming and choose Strider as the starting attachment and enjoy building up your Eagles before coming to save a Hobbit in a tree or on a mountain or just generally in trouble somewhere.

Sneak Attack? I mean you cannot drop the eagles with it during combat phase. But you can sneak in Gandalf into it and you can sneak in Meneldor during planing for location control and supporting Eagles of the Misty Mountains.
