TheSilverKing 2

A two hero deck, built around using Strider and Light of Valinor as well as Sam's hero ability to have Glorfindel and Sam perform 4 actions per round, providing lots of steady attack and willpower. The deck also takes advantage of the low starting threat to use several key cards with the "Secrecy" trait, providing you a way to quickly and cheaply build up a group of allies, especially when you starting adding the extra resources from Resourceful and Steward of Gondor. Cards like Galadriel's Handmaiden, Elrond's Counsel, and The Galadhrim's Greeting allow the player to keep their threat low, hopefully clearing most of the adventure or building a large force before hitting the 20 threat limit for using Secrecy cards.

This deck is a work-in-progress. From my experience, this deck is best used in multiplayer games, preferably with a player running Tactics for help with taking down some of the bigger enemy threats.

It's brave and a nice idea to go for a 2-heroes deck these days when you would be stuck between falling back to a The Grey Wanderer deck and/or upgrading to a 3-heroes line-up with Arwen Undómiel as the Messenger of the King and still be in Secrecy.

You lose the action advantage of Strider. But is that really an issue? Sadly, I think 2-heroes deck are kinda dead now.

@banania I see, I did not know about the current meta, only have cards up to the Land of Shadow/the Dreamchaser Cycle, so this deck is the best I can do for trying to play Secrecy and Two Heroes. Will be using it for either the Ring-Maker or the Against The Shadow cycles. Should be getting the two Return of the King saga expansions sometime next month, so I will check out Messenger of the King when they come in. Thanks for the input.

@jvader Thanks, glad you like it! Worked well with my brother's Lore/Spirit deck last time we played a couple APs, though we were a bit light on attacking firepower.
