A Good-Stuff Bond of Friendship deck that centers around four heroes that each have viable targets for Thorongil (see sideboard). Despite having some of the most powerful Heroes in the game it’s starting threat is only 31!

Not a lot of piloting info required. Steward should probably go on Aragorn as he can easily become multi-sphered with his toys and/or Thorongil. Denethor will be your main defender, Gondorian Shield and the Destrider go on him. Don’t be afraid to use the Legacies of Numenor or Eowyn’s ability because LoreAgorn can always reset your threat back down to 34 anytime.

Totally up to you what hero you choose to fish out with Thorongil. You can go for Tactics Aragorn to try to give him all 4 spheres (achievement unlocked!), Spirit Eowyn for some extra willpower, Lore Glorfindel for some healing or Lore Denethor for some encounter deck scrying/control. It all depends on the quest you are up against and how the game is going.

RingsDB is a little weird, if I include Bond of Friendship it shows 11 neutral cards in the graph but if I pull out a Neutral Card (I would recommend one of the Envoys or A Good Harvest) it shows I only have 49 cards in the deck.

contracts are cards but not part of the deck. so the cards show 11 neutral but you have only 10 each in your deck.

This looks like a great deck to me! I’m really curious why you didn’t include The Free Peoples, since I think it’s such a strong effect, and you start with 8 different traits already! I’ve been pretty happy with my version with a different hero setup (https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/20998/thebestonedeckwithoutvilya-1.0), but I’ve been trying to find a way to use Spirit Glorfindel because Asfaloth is just so good when it puts two progress on.
