I have been playing with this deck for a while now. Have been going through the Ring-maker cycle and now Angmar Awakened. I should probably be playing nightmare mode since this deck uses the full card pool, but right now I just want to play through as many different quests as possible since there are so many quests that I haven't tried yet.
As for the deck there are two things it focuses on. 1) Getting out hobbit pipes to get some card draw going. 2) Building up Rosie's so she can effectively help the party however it needs. I used to have Gandalf and Sneak Attack which could provide me with some card draw when I couldn't get the pipes puffing. But lately I've used Gandalf instead. That changed things quite a lot since it's hard to stay in secrecy while using him, so I cleaned out some of my secrecy cards.
The card count is currently 52 cards. If I'm to remove something it will probably be 2x Timely Aid, but that card has been an early entry for Gandalf so many times now that I'm hesitant to get rid of it.
The deck has no healing and little in ways of dealing with treachery and shadow cards. I have a few cards in the sideboard that I can pull in when a quest proves too difficult in that department, but so far I haven't had to make much use of it.
There are probably some improvements that would make this deck more efficient, but I can't see what they might be. Maybe my love for the halfling's leaf has slowed my mind.
