this is my version of a best deck.
very flexible. (starts with thread 33 thx to eowyn)
- can use up to 7 resources 1. turn (4 default, +2 denethor, +1 arwen).
- even if no shield appears Denethor with Inner Strength can defend a troll.
- good startwillpower of heroes if needed (9)
- carddraw from start (if needed) Beravor
- gandalf or treeberad playable in 1 turn
- 4 valid targets for Sneak Attack (gandalf and elrond)
- thread reduction with gandalf(sneak) and keen as lances
- flexible choice of allies (everyone can quest or fight for 2 or have special abilities like healing or resourcetransport
- no "must have" card, but all are usefull, without combo
flaw: not the best for multiplayer
mulligan for 1 sneak-gandalf 2 steward 3 gondorian shield 4 armored destrider

Obviously you can't beat Mount Doom because of The One Ring, but any other quest, I'd be curious to hear about...
