The Challenge: Beat every quest in the Harad cycle using different decks that must include Kahliel.
This deck easily handled Escape from Umbar, greatly surprising me. I got 2 of the side quests right off the bat and used those to stall for time in the beginning while I got set up. By turn 4 I was engaged with 3 enemies and still felt comfortable enough to do peace and thought. Using the contract every round, I was able to draw through my deck pretty fast. I had a little scare towards the middle of the game where I was very low on hit points for archery. After getting steward however, I was able to put down 2-3 allies a round which helped until I got a warden out.

Keep an eye out tomorrow for The Desert Crossing!
Also, I will accept any and all challenges. Reach out if you have any you want me to try.

Jul 26, 2021Oh, rats about the pipe. I thought it went on Rangers, too. There are 11 traps in here and I ended up playing 7 of them in my playthrough. You're absolutely right that Damrod could be optimized better, but I'm a little addicted to him at the moment, the reduction and draw is SOOO good. |
Jul 26, 2021I only count eight traps. What am I missing? And I understand addictions. I may have to shred Glorf soon to stop myself |
Jul 26, 20213 spikes, 3 ambush, 3 followed, 2 forest snare. I need more traps for Damrod fast. |
Jul 27, 2021Ah, I missed Followed |
Jul 27, 2021Nice. |
Jul 27, 2021I think this deck may need some defense attachments, (Kahliel is your best hero defender with 2) but otherwise looks great! |

Why DĂșnedain Pipe? Its also an interesting use of Damrod with 8 Traps. Well done!
