This is the deck I used to defeat Deadman's Dike for my Single Core Series.

This is the same hero lineup I used for the first quest in the deluxe box: Intruders in Chetwood. While I was trying to come up with a deck that consistently beat this quest I kept coming back to these same three heroes. I did make some modifications to the deck for this quest.
This quest makes you discard a lot of cards off the top of your deck so I have included Imladris Stargazer and Wizard Pipe to ensure that the card being discarded is one I want to be. This deck has a lot of willpower and Gimli and Gandalf will do a majority of the fighting. Frodo Baggins once again is the ideal defender with a lot of threat reduction to offset his ability.
Make sure to keep a Will of the West handy, it is going to be hard to win unless you can shuffle in your discard pile at least once.
