I tweaked Chad's Single Core series deck a little bit and veered away slightly from Progression by adding in some later Eagle allies such as Meneldor to help with putting progress on the Battleground locations and Wilyador who is cheap and can help with siege questing or defending, then can fold nicely underneath Eagles of the Misty Mountains at the end of the round. Their addition also means a higher hit rate with The Eagles Are Coming!. The general concept is the same, though. I also added Sterner than Steel to help with those nasty shadow chains. I focus heavily on exploring The Banks first followed by The Approach. If I don't explore The Citadel that means I'm siege questing the whole way through this quest, which actually makes it easier with this deck. I've had a pretty solid win/loss ratio with this deck, though Progression players should just stick to his deck!
