This is primarily a multiplayer combat deck, though it can muddle through easier quests solo. The idea is to load Gimli up with attachments to give him loads of hit points to buff his attack to ungodly levels, then use Firefoot to smash multiple enemies in one stroke.
Halbarad is in the deck to allow multiple optional engagements so that Gimli has targets for Firefoot, though once you get Dúnedain Cache on Gimli, you can kill an enemy engaged with another player and then use Firefoot on your own enemy. Bifur is for resource smoothing and becomes your defender with Dúnedain Warnings, Ring Mail and A Burning Brand.
Steward of Gondor goes either on Gimli or Bifur, depending on which sphere you need more resources for. It's probably best on Gimli since Bifur can pull one of those over each round, but if you get multiple Erebor Record Keeper early, you may want to put it on Bifur.
