Look, everyone knows that the 2, 2, 2 stat line on characters sucks. Not only do the characters appear confused about their roles, but I am too. What is the optimal way to use this character? Jacks of All Trades, Masters of None indeed.
Just look at this poo poo platter of allies. Eagles of the Misty Mountains "might" be a cannibal; sure Gimli can ready, but he might not; if you're reducing the cost for Halbarad, you're probably already overwhelmed; Haldir of Lórien's good looks distract the players; Ranger of Cardolan hates your heroes so much that he disappears after like 2 minutes; don't get me started on that lazy bum, Wandering Ent, who takes a break when you call him to action; you may be confused about Gandalf, but let me pose one question: if 2, 2, 2 is bad, then 4, 4, 4 must be twice as bad. To crown it all off, good old Ranger of the North might not even show up in a useful capacity, maybe not even at all.
I tried my best to create a functional deck using these garbage cards, but this deck probably belongs in the bike spokes of an Olympic cyclist. I doubt this deck could even beat Passage through Mirkwood on Easy Mode, let alone hope to make it through even one round of Carn Dum.
Great concept!
