This is the Riders of Rohan deck I modified to play against Journey along the Anduin.

The video can be found here: https://youtu.be/RQCEUIegvAQ

I did not change much, added a third Horn of the Mark, dropped the Horseback Archers. Added 3 Quick Strike which is amazing with Éomer and Firefoot. The Riddermark's Finest was added because it is great at clearing locations in the staging area.

Happy Questing

First play and a loss. Not enough allies in the deck, so if you don't draw them, you're screwed.

50% of the deck is allies. The actual issue is lack of card-draw itself, not the number of allies.

Horn of the Mark in the opening hand, so card draw was good, but drawing into a handful of Events that either aren't useful or are too expensive clogged my hand.

Evidently the starter just doesn't have more allies to offer, but I'd shoot for closer to 30 for a Rohan deck that wants to cycle those allies.

shrug if you weren't drawing allys, then you should have been able to afford the events. And, one of those events might have been The Muster of Rohan. Try it 5 or 6 more times and see what the average is like. One game could just be a shuffle fail.

Thanks for the deck, Chad. Second play was a win, but incredibly narrow. Firefoot and Rohan Warhorse went on a rampage to clear the engagement zone when at 49 threat.

Another play with not nearly enough allies....
